Hong Kong Airport March 11th 2017

We have made it through the 13 hour flight to get to Thailand. Although we have not done anything specifically related to the service or the trek, we have built up a stronger bond between peers by solving simple tasks that we usually take for granted, like finding the transit flights. We also built up confidence and team communication skills at build up day before the trip had even started, so that we are well prepared for the tasks ahead. We also organised specific roles for the group and rotatable roles as well, the most difficult being the team leader who plans out all the activities for the day. We are all excited and somewhat ready for the future two weeks in Thailand.

About Meadowridge School

Meadowridge is an independent, coeducational, International Baccalaureate World School offering students a university-preparatory education from Junior Kindergarten (age 4) to Grade 12. With an emphasis on the development of well-rounded individuals, our students "learn to live well, with others and for others, in a just community".
